Description: Carrie Epstein was formerly senior director of the Safe Horizon Center for Child Innovation in Brooklyn, NY. Currently she is in private practice. Her practice focuses on providing training and consultation on evidence-based child trauma treatments and best practices, trauma-informed care for children and women, and organizational readiness to implement change when adopting evidence-based practices. She is also a faculty member at Yale where she will continue to adapt and disseminate the Child and Family Traumatic Stress Intervention, the early intervention/secondary prevention model for children exposed to potentially traumatic events.
