Description:
Chris Foreman began her involvement with the NCTSN in partnership with the Mental Health Center of Dane County. She helped pilot Caring for Children Who Have Experienced Trauma, and has since made this a standard training for all foster parents licensed by her agency. She has an interest in trauma education and has participated in piloting the NCTSN Resource Parent Curriculum and has developed local learning communities for Resource Parents and Child Welfare staff. She has participated in train the trainer presentations on the Resource Parent Curriculum and has provided presentations for guardian ad litems and social work graduate students on the effects of trauma. In May of 2013 she joined the National Center for Child Traumatic Stress as a Network Liaison.
