Description:
Frank Bennett was director of Children's Services at Aurora Mental Health Center in Aurora, Colorado, for twenty years before retiring in 2006. The center helped with the response to the Columbine murders and local disaster including floods and tornadoes. He served as project director of the NCTSN site at Aurora for four years. After leaving the network, the Center has continued to participate in Learning Collaboratives and Dr. Bennett plays an active role in the Foster Care Committee of the Child Welfare Group. He worked on the Core Curriculum Project, helped to develop the Resource Parent Curriculum, and provides training with the Resource Parent Curriculum. Dr. Bennett welcomes the opportunity to assist people in learning about trauma and the various methods for treating it.
