This version of Psychological First Aid is a Chinese translation made by Sue-Huei Chen and colleagues at the University of Taiwan. The accuracy of the translation has not been verified by NCTSN or NCPTSD.

Psychological First Aid is an evidence-informed approach for assisting children, adolescents, adults, and families in the aftermath of disaster and terrorism. It is designed for providers to give practical assistance to meet immediate needs and concerns, reduce distress, and foster adaptive coping.

The Psychological First Aid package includes the Field Operations Guide, a brief Overview of the guide, Appendices, and nine handouts. The handouts are no longer than two pages and may be printed on the front and back of a single sheet for ease of distribution.
